To show visitors to the Christmas market in Zurich that EWZ Zurich is committed to green electricity, we teamed up with ROD Kommunikation to stage a glowing message using giant 3D-printed power sockets.
FORM provided enlightenment – the plugs were manufactured using transparent filament via 3D printing, which resulted in their light weight and hollow interior. This enabled the integration of all the cabling and the creation of internal lighting. The entire production process, including the manufacture of the illuminated power cable and assembly, was carried out entirely on our premises and tested in a trial setup.
