For the Art on Ice, with the theme of art, we were commissioned to create 3D figures based on the paintings of art forger Wolfgang Beltracchi. We turned the drawings into three-dimensional designs, which later served as the basis for production.
The two figures were made from processed, hardened, and laminated Styrofoam, which we milled into shape and sanded down.
In the show, the entire stage set was covered with images by Beltracchi. Some of these were our 3D figures, which were even incorporated into the artists' performance.
