Together with curator Daniela Schneuwly and architect and construction manager Marcel Hegg, we had the privilege of creating the impressive permanent exhibition at the Centre Albert Anker, which tells the story of the artist in the old farmhouse in Ins.

The old farmhouse was not chosen as the location for the Centre Albert Anker by chance – it was the home and place where the famous artist Albert Anker grew up.
However, this old farmhouse also presented a number of challenges. The gentle renovation of the farm buildings meant that a large part of the house was left untouched. Extreme temperature fluctuations and uneven walls and floors were just some of the difficulties that had to be overcome. This required careful selection of materials that were both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The result is definitely impressive.

The versatility of this project and the successful combination of analog and multimedia elements were particularly exciting. In the entrance area, 55-inch screens with earphones welcome us and invite us on a journey through the history of Albert Anker.
Standing wall modules with glazed birch plywood panels, specially developed display cases, a large LED wall, a round screen with a 3D-printed cover, and, as one of the absolute highlights, the specially developed robot-controlled puppet show – all this brings the artist's history and legacy to life. We will now let our pictures and recordings speak for themselves.
